FW 9 kicks off this Friday which is our double points Junior weekend, hope to see a few youngsters at weigh in , Junior Cup is well and truly up for grabs for anyone this late in the piece. Will be more info to come later in the week.

Gun City & Fishing jackpot was once again not struck last FW. It is now at a juicy $300 for the heaviest Snapper over 5.5kg. I presume everyone has tactically been releasing their moochers to wait for the prize money to get up. At $300 it must be time to weigh in a big one.

Fishing has been red hot the last week, fingers crossed this continues this weekend. Great excuse to have a practice before the weekend, there has been big hauls of gurnards all along locally and some nicer sized snapper to boot. Pretty hard to ignore the good fishing close to your doorstep for this coming weekend?
