FW 10 brought a mixed bag of weather, with most struggling to find the snapper but once again gurnard in numbers were put across the scales Sunday.
19 fishermen threw a line or two out with some really impressive bags of fish. The challenge weekend was bonus points for any pin fish . George was the only one to manage this with a Pin SSH of 5.01 kg and a pin Gurnard of 1.11kg. I’m sure those 400 extra points will come in useful towards the end of the year.
Heaviest Snapper went to Mark Ives @ 2.87 kg – With Mark having the best quality bag of snapper for the weekend
Best Other George Pin 5.01 kg SSH – standout overall bag
Best Gurnard – With George already taking out best other , the next best gurnard was Jayden .95kg – a quality bin of gurnard to boot
Average Kahawai – Tareq 1.835 kg – also an impressive bag of Gurnard and Kahawai
Best Junior – Lokan with a kahawai of 1.685 kg – leapfrogs into 2nd on the Junior leaderboard
21 Snapper caught , 4 SSH caught , 1 conger eel released, 25 Kahawai , 49 Gurnard – 2 more pins added to the tally.
2 more Pania weekends to go, fingers crossed the fishing continues to turn it on .
