Gun City & Fishing Jackpot must go this last Open FW its now up to a whopping $450 . The heaviest Snapper will take home the money whatever the weight , if it happens to be a pin I will up it to $500 total and if it comes from local waters, it will be $500 also. Sharpen up the hooks, she’s lining up to be a belter!

Long Range weather looks bloody good for the popular haunts on the East Coast and for those not being able to travel all is not lost as local looks on the money for a jackpot fish raid. The sea is colder and a few nasty fish are coming in locally but have still seen some good snapper. Worth having a look at the forecast in Southern Hawkes bay and Mahanga, historically May has done some strange things there with the odd very big snapper.
