Hastings/Napier is getting a fair dump from the sky today and tomorrow ,and Wairoa upwards have had steady rain for the week. Those river mouths will be far less appealing this weekend.

On the positive side, the weather forecast for the weekend has improved from monday with more offshore and on paper a much more fishable sea locally. There has been a good amount of Kingfish about , might just be a reassessment to find the better water if the rivers are flowing brown.
