The weather was more than generous last Field Weekend but not the case this time around, with a pretty challenging forecast to say the least. One for the hearty and those looking to muster up what points they can with the season only having a couple more to go.

Prizes for Heaviest Snapper, Gurnard, average kahawai, Best Other , Best Junior. One feels the red fish will be hard to come by this weekend but you never know with those odd big moochers making up their own rules at times in a grumpy sea.

All that being said it screams a $400 SSH jackpot fish coming across the scales Sunday. A great sea to be zoning in targeting the elusive big lemon and with $400 up for grabs, surely worth picking a tide or two over the weekend to have a crack. Cray, crab, prawns & fishbites are your friend here.
