18 Clubbies fished FW 2 sponsored by Rivers to Ranges. The weather not playing ball for those looking to travel. 14 Clubbies fished in the local boundaries in between rain and thunderstorms, with 4 that travelled all choosing to head up to the Far North.
George, James B, Tareq and Ahmed all produced some nice bags of Far North Snapper with the majority of fish around the 3-5kg mark. James and George with 1 to 2 nice trevally as well.
Although the sea was pretty decent locally the fishing was very quiet. With only one snapper, 2 tope videos and 3 gurnard weighed total.

Heaviest Snapper went to George with a 5.19kg fish, Heaviest gurnard went to Sue Kemsley with a .84kg Gurnard, Best Other went to James B with a 3.025kg trevally and average kahawai went to Ahmed 1.27kg. Ahmed driving up to the Far North for the weekend solo!!

Surely the weather plays ball going forward, FW 3 is in in 2 weekends time October 17-19th and is a local boundary of Tongoio to Cape Kidnappers.

Looks like a week of Westerly this week, can see some fish back about locally now the FW has past.
