Gun City & Fishing Jackpot was once again not struck last FW . Its now up to a whopping $250 for the heaviest Snapper 5.5kg+ this FW .
I have slightly learnt my lesson about talking it up after helping jinx it for the last 4 Field Weekends.

Forecast once again looks good, fishing has continued to be productive locally ( South, North, Hastings and Napier sides).
I believe Marks Ives caught a nice snapper just shy of pin weight to win the Mohaka Surfcasting competition.
I’m sure it has some slightly fatter friends.

There have been some pin snappers caught in the Hawkes bay over the last few days. Bit of food for thought for those thinking of chasing a moocher or 3.
