The weekend saw the first Pania local FW kick off for the year, kindly sponsored by Jono at Last Cast.

16 Clubbies blew the dust off the gear and although fishing was slow , there were some nice fish weighed across the scales.

15 Kahawai – Average Kahawai Tareq

5 Gurnard – Heaviest James B .955kg

1 Snapper – James B 2.025kg

2 Elephant Fish – Both by Mark Roberts 3.785kg & 4.045kg

3 Barracouta – will keep these nameless- On a side note well done Tareq, Dion and James

Mark Roberts with 2 impressive Elephant fish both Pin fish caught around his neck of the woods 

James B the only one managing to snap up the 300 bonus points with a nice bag of variety of kahawai, a gurnard, a snapper and to balance out some spring fishing a coutta.

Jackpot rolls over to $100 for 1kg+ gurnard in October, prime time for this to go FW2
