LAST CAST (7up 3 flavours) Field Weekend One September 11th , 12th, 13th –
7 or more fish weighed in will receive 300 extra points – Note these 7 fish must be made up of a minimum of 3 varieties. All weighable species included. Start fish time 5pm Friday night. Weigh in is 12pm (midday) Sunday at the Taradale Club 55 Wharerangi Road Greenmeadows Napier. Normal boundaries apply.

CASTING CLUB DAY #1 Sunday September 20th. Venue to be advised, casting will commence at 9am, to be eligible for the Champion of Champions trophy members must participate in at least one casting event. Your best result of any one of the casting events will count towards our casting trophies and these points will be added to your field weekend points table.

RIVERS TO RANGES Field Weekend Two October 9th , 10th & 11th (Open) On an open boundary weekend, there are no club boundaries. You can fish anywhere in NZ (salt water only) start fish time will be 5pm Friday regardless where you fish. Weigh in for these weekends will be at 2pm Sunday at the Taradale Club 55 Wharerangi Road Greenmeadows Napier. Please ensure to observe MPI catch limits and restrictions for the area you fish in. Any fish caught outside the normal club’s boundaries will qualify for pins and points but will not qualify for club records.

BURNSCO (LOCAL DERBY) Field Weekend Three October 30th, 31th & November 1st
Boundary – Tongoio to the Cape.
Start fish time 5pm Friday. Weigh in is 12pm (midday) Sunday at the Taradale Club, 55 Wharerangi Road Greenmeadows Napier.

CASTING DAY Sunday 8th November (Postal Casting) Venue to be advised, casting will commence at 9am, Casting on the day will consist of three accuracy casts and three distance casts. Postal casting results are then forwarded to our national body NZACA.

PANIA KAHAWAI COMP Sunday 15th November Details to be advised.

HAMILLS (Blue team / Red team) Field Weekend Four November 20th ,21st , 22nd
+50 points for every moki matched with a snapper or gurnard. Max 400 points. Start fish time 5pm Friday night. Weigh in is 12pm (midday) Sunday at the Taradale Club 55 Wharerangi Road Greenmeadows Napier. Normal boundaries apply.

Moki 1000 November 28th – 29th

(Hams) Field Weekend Five December 11th , 12th & 13th
Start fish time 5pm Friday night. Weigh in is 12pm (midday) Sunday at the Taradale Club 55 Wharerangi Road Greenmeadows Napier. Normal boundaries apply. There is a $10 per rod entry fee which must be paid prior to start fish time. All major prizes will be hams but everybody who enters will receive a prize.

+300 points for every kingfish weighed with a different other species, max 3 Kingfish. Start fish time 5pm Friday night. Weigh in is 12pm (midday) Sunday at the Taradale Club 55 Wharerangi Road Greenmeadows Napier. Normal boundaries apply.

CRAFTYS (PANIA SHIELD) Field Weekend Seven February 13th &14th
Will be a Saturday start. Details to be advised.

HAMILLS (Bag limit Challenge) Field Weekend Eight February 26th , 27th, 28th ,
Start fish time 5pm Friday night. Weigh in is 12pm (midday) Sunday at the Taradale Club 55 Wharerangi Road Greenmeadows Napier. Normal boundaries apply. You will receive an extra 30 points per fish of the species that you have reached a Pania Bag Limit, this excludes SSH. Max 450 points

FISHBITES (Species Challenge) Field Weekend Nine March 19th, 20TH 21st
+250 for 4 species. Any additional species +50 points. Max 400. JUNIORS BONUS ROUND – Juniors receive double points for their entire catch! Start fish time 5pm Friday night. Weigh in is 12pm (midday) Sunday at the Taradale Club 55 Wharerangi Road Greenmeadows Napier. Normal boundaries apply.

NZACA Nationals 8th-10th April Hosted by New Plymouth Surfcasting Club.

BURNSCO Field Weekend Ten. April 16th , 17th & 18th
